Welcome to the Information Technology (IT) Department's website. We hope to provide you with information that will help you perform your academic and administrative job functions.

As a part of the IT Mission Statement, we dedicate ourselves to providing user support for academic and administrative computing at all levels by executing day to day operations, maintaining computer resources, providing support for training as well as individual assistance and consultation.

We are committed to maintaining the highest possible level of technological resources. We seek to enhance the learning environment by ensuring user friendly access to information technology. We support state and federal agencies through effective communications and accurate, timely reports.

We participate in community initiatives for the betterment of society. We recognize Columbia State's leadership role in the community of educational institutions, and will continually take part in the exchange of ideas and information. As a service-oriented department, we dedicate ourselves to being an information technology resource for the academic advancement of the college's customers and its academic service area.

Office 365 is Free for Columbia State Students and Faculty/Staff

Instructions for Students:
Go to https://Portal.Office.com and enter your Columbia State email address (someone@ColumbiaState.edu) and your password (same password you use for ChargerNet). That’s all you need to do to start using Office 365! (Note: Outlook is coming soon.  Until then, access your email from https://mail10.columbiastate.edu or through the link in ChargerNet.)

Instructions for Faculty and Staff:
Faculty and Staff can receive Office 365 by submitting a request to HelpDesk@ColumbiaState.edu

I think I have a virus!

Quick Tip: Most viruses are received as attachments through email.  Avoid opening attachments from people you do not know.  You should first Save the Attachment without opening it, then run your Virus scanning software on the file.  If no Virus is found, then you may open it. Virus Information
