Campus Life

We understand that your personal and professional growth isn’t limited to what you learn in the classroom. Or rather, at Columbia State, the entire campus and its surrounding community is your classroom.

Perhaps your quest for academic excellence will take you to our chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honors society for two-year institutions. Or maybe your desire to develop your leadership skills will inspire you to campaign for a position in the Student Government Association. Or your love of the game will spur you to cheer on (or play for) our baseball, softball or basketball teams.

And if there’s some activity or hobby you love that isn’t represented, we encourage you to start your own club or organization.

Whatever paths you choose to explore, remember that campus life is what you make it.

Clubs & Student Organizations

Columbia State invites every student to find a club or an organization that matches your individual passions. From academic to health to athletic to community service, groups have been established by students to ignite learning, find new circles of friends, give back to the community or keep you healthy.
Phi Theta Kappa

Academic Organizations

There are groups that have formed in many of the individual disciplines that expose members to real life issues within the area of study, network students with working professionals in those areas and to create opportunities for mini learning communities. Check with your advisor, or click to find your team.

Intramural Sports

Come join the fun with Intramural Sports. Through the year, we will be playing volleyball, football, kickball, basketball, and frisbee. Intramural sports are played "within the walls" of the college as opposed to intercollegiate sports. These games promote wellness, encourage fun competition and provide a great way to get to know fellow students.
